Multifaceted, multicuisine, multinational, multidemographic — Cape Town Café in a nutshell is a restaurant, a sports bar, a club serving Goan, Indian, and Continental. It is for the young, the hep, the foodie and the clubbie. David de Souza (of Tito and Mambo fame) has added one more feather to his cap. The lower section is large airy with huge screens all over the place — it is a hub for those who want to sit down and chill. The huge screens scattered around the place showcase football, tennis, cricket which could interest the viewer. Nibble on snacks and tit bits or move on to something more substantial that the chefs have worked on. Start with the Crumb Fried Prawns or the Batter Fired Mushrooms. Don't forget about that happy hour throughtout the week…Sunday to Thursday from 7pm to midnight while on Friday and Saturday its 7pm to 10pm. You might be lucky to get those discounts you look for in spirits…great bargains. And talking about imbibing…if you still feel puckish then the flavour of Goa is a must, The Prawn Curry Rice is a sure recommendation. This café is a place for multifaceted fusion, a 3 D style — drink, dine and dance. The night is still not over, it is after all the swinging 21st century. Move back into the inner recesses of the café and let your hair down. The tempo of the latest tracks of hip-hop and house will add zest to the evening. It does not matter if you if you are hep or need to be pepped. The DJs have the right mix for you. And remember this is an all night affair. Season or off season there is always a reason to create a hub for a club and a pub. Enter Cape Town Café.
