Which other place in the world has a love for soccer, their natives are called Indians and have a big congregation of Roman Catholics. The people dance, have fiestas which include religious festivals and have a potent spirit made out of a crop grown wild in the region. And although it sounds a little crazy, Poco Loco, the place that is in Goa is not Goa but half way around the globe - Mexico. The casual shack-like restaurant by Baga Creek is a popular haunt for tourists, but on Friday nights, which is 'Jazz Night', the place is packed to capacity. Now Mexican food is popular, the Americans love it, and once one gets a hang of the basic ingredients used it will suit your palate too. Goa's only Mexican restaurant by the Creek has Chef Kundan Jha work on the Tortillas, Quesadillas, Enchiladas, Burritos, Fajitas where food from the two regions of Mexico the North (spicy) and Vera Cruz (known for seafood) are listed on the menu. Start with the Quesadillas, tailored for our palates. Tacos, a folded tortilla stuffed with cheese, onion, tomatoes and pan fried, and accompanied by a guacamole, sour cream and a tangy salsa sauce. Next on the menu are their House specialities - the Burritos and the Enchiladas. The Enchiladas are spicy with a choice of fillings (either vegetable, Chicken, or Prawn). And then there are the sizzling Fajitas. The aroma and the accompaniments served separately could fill your senses - cheese, refried beans, sour cream, salsa and two warm flour tortillas. So on this trip to Goa you would like your palate to go a 'little crazy' remember they have named this place especially for you. No need to don the sombrero and take a shut eye siesta, a Mexican exercise for your culinary senses is awaiting you.

The crazy ambience of Poco Loco Mexican is energetic and full of fun all at the same place. Fajitas, Enchiladas, Salads and more are in offering and the food is definitely the main reason for me being there every other day. Sizzling hot food and awesome ambience are chemistry not to be missed at the Poco Loco Mexican restaurant.

Poco Loco is a nice place to go once a while. The ambiance is good and so is the food. Along with Mexican, the place serves other cuisines too. I loved the sizzler with tortillas and the cocktails. Overall a good place to be with friends.
