Look out for a signboard on your left as you approach Calangute beach, because this superb Oriental eatery is located 20 meters inside from the main road, down a narrow alley. Set in the compound of an old house, they serve authentic Tibetan food along with Thai and Chinese delicacies too. They have an all-day menu, so you can step in for breakfast, lunch, dinner or for an in-between meal, though they're sometimes only open for dinner, depending on the vagaries of the season! A favourite with the alternative and Osho crowd, The Tibetan Kitchen has been around for many years. The emphasis here is on organic food. The Tibetan staple, momos, are served up in a variety of ways, with the dumplings stuffed with a variety of fillings, as per your choice. For a main course, try the Rice Fingsha, which is a rice dish which comes along with a delicious vegetable stew with meat. Also some excellent Rechotse - momos in soup, Thenthuk - noodles in soup, and other Tibetan soups, starters, etc. Apart from some Chinese style rice and noodles, they also serve some memorable Thai food with a whole range of red, yellow and green curries and stir fries like Satay, and we suggest you try the superb Steamed Fish in Blackbean Sauce. The flavours are all authentic and the portions decent too, at very reasonable prices and friendly service. They also serve excellent Continental pastas and great sizzlers, Roast Chicken, etc.

Authentic Thai, Chinese and as the name suggests Tibetan food is the special preparations of this restaurant and for all oriental food lovers nothing can get better than this in exotic Goa. Momos, Satay, Thukpas, Thenthuks and lists of all my favorite food is available here. Non veg is their main delight and food wise this is one of my favorite destinations.
