Hidden in the countryside at Anjuna is this gem of French gastronomic delight, run by Michele (wife of Remo), who is always at hand to help patrons decide on the food. To get here from the Flea Market road, take the lane towards German Bakery and soon you will come to this alfresco garden café, which is open for breakfast, lunch and snacks, but not for dinner. There’s a limited menu on offer, with some specials of the day which change all the time. We recommend the superb Chicken Normandie, a chicken steak cooked French style in a rich creamy mustard sauce, which you can have with the perfect, creamy mashed potatoes. Or the Pepper Steak or the Beef Steak done in olive oil and the Mustard Fish done with crushed mustard and olive oil. They also have seasonal salads of seafood like calamari and pineapple and various snacks like quiches, Verrine, Cannele, and also some great desserts, and a good bar menu; wine is available by the glass.

The décor of Michele’s Café is really big turn-off. I personally don’t like the place but service is better. Waiters are prompt and quick. For that matter food is good too. Chicken Normandie, and Mustard Fish are really delicious and well-cooked. Aroma from the food definitely will increase your hunger.
