If you're staying in the Candolim area on a long visit, then there will be times when you simply want to stay put at home and have a warmed up meal. A good place to stock up on ready-to-eat food is Newton's Supermarket, the biggest in Goa. They have pre-cooked frozen meals of everything from Goan-style Chicken Xacutti to Steak Pie and Mushy Peas. Besides imported frozen Turkey Balls, Hamburger Patties, all kinds of cold cuts, sausages, salami, and whatever else you can think of. Plus of course instant soup mixes, noodles and whatever else that you can think of in cans, bottles, etc.

Staying alone is not a struggle any more due to the places like Newton’s that stays open till late and has a good stock of ready to eat food. In packaged food they have it all including Goa non veg dishes. Salami, sausages are the usual things that I pick and also Chicken Xacutti is something that one can try from this supermarket.

I liked this place as it offers nice food. The goan food is awesome and apart form this there is lot more to eat. I had nice noodles and soups.The service is quite satisfying and the staff are very polite.

I liked the ambience of the place a lot. I went here for lunch. I liked the service and the quality of the food. It price was also economical and did not burn a hole in the pocket. I will love to visit again whenever I get a chance.
