This small, hole-in-the-wall shop near the busy Jack Sequeira junction in Calangute serves excellent Chicken and Mutton Biryani in the authentic dum-style with that distinctive flavour of saffron and other spices. The mutton is cooked to perfection and sufficiently juicy. Although primarily a takeaway joint, you can choose to eat on make-shift tables, but we suggest you take the packed Biryani home and give it a good dum in your kitchen to get the flavours inside the container just right. They also pack in a simple Onion Raita with the Biryani. While they only serve the biryanis on most days, they sometimes do a Mutton Masala and Chicken Masala which, however, is a bit bland and obviously meant for the foreign tourists who would like to try the Mughlai-style Mutton.
