Don't miss this small, cafe-style bakery and confectionery near the Candolim football ground. They make excellent Prawn Rissois, small Goan-style dumplings with a prawn mince inside, or the crispy Prawn Pattice. They also offer delicious Mini Beef Burgers which make for a perfect snack, some crispy Beef Pattice, Chicken Pattice and the ever-popular Chicken Rolls. You can dig in to all kinds of cakes, Goan-style cookies and sweets, biscuits and gift items. Sit there and sip on hot or cold beverages or pack and take away your snacks. Either way, the prices are extremely affordable. The owners are producers of the Goan local theatrical form, Tiatr, so on your way out, you can buy some VCDs of their productions if you like.

Every now and then while walking idly down the road I come across some place that completely surprises me and Café Jackson is one of such places that I discovered by chance. It is a small café which has baked and confectionery dishes for offering to its customers. This place makes excellent seafood and non veg dishes. The Goan style dumplings that is tried is a must have and so is their Beef Pattice that are crispy, fresh and very filling. There are also beverages, cookies and sweets on the menu, all fresh and delicious. Café Jackson is really refreshing and relaxing.

Had an excellent Prawn Rissois and Beef Burger at Café Jackson last week. The place is average looking and décor is not very nicely done. The service is average as well. The price of food is quite reasonable and sweets are good too. I also tried Goan-style cookies and sweets, which were nice to have.
