Don't go by the moniker literally. Smuggler's Inn is a European speciality restaurant in Palolem. It has changed hands and the present owners are two young boys Kenneth and Menvel. Smuggler's Inn serves standard European dishes like steaks, lasagna, burgers, pastas, Pork Chops and Lamb Chops, sizzlers, pizzas, pancakes, Cottage Pie, Chicken Kiev and Greek Salad. You must also try their delicious puddings like Banoffee Pie. To go with the food, you can order chilled beer and wines. The eatery is slightly overpriced compared to the nearby places. Karaoke nights, game nights and movie nights are held on Saturdays and Sundays. They also have a DVD lounge where you can watch movies and read books

I went Smuggler's Inn few days back to have some nice European Dishes. The ambiance was quite good. it was relaxing and refreshing. Food I would say is just average. I had lasagna, pastas and Lamb Chops and beer. Food was average. Pasta was under cooked and lamb chops were bland. I also had Banoffee Pie. pie was delicious and I loved it. service of the place was slow and unfriendly.
