Set in a large garden area, Green Jacket is a European speciality restaurant started by Matias C. Seco, who has a long experience of working at the Carlton in Dubai. Steaks in a choice of sauces (flambe on request) and Pork Chops are the speciality at this place. They also serve chicken in European-style preparations. An experienced Indian chef does Tandoori Chicken, Chicken Malai Kebab and Tandoori King Pomfret, and you can ask for your food to be spiced up or toned down. And don't miss the dessert, Green Jacket Special, which is a pancake stuffed with ice cream and garnished with rich chocolate sauce or a splash of alcohol. Mr. Matias takes special care that you leave satisfied.

In Goa, finding a European style restaurant serving international cuisine like Green Jacket is pretty easy, however I prefer this place because it is not too crowded and food is available for a reasonable cost. Pork Chops are the best of this place and otherwise I like sticking to the Indian delicacies like Chicken Malai Kebab and Tandoori Chicken. The best of this restaurant is saved till the last and it is the dessert Green Jacket Special. Green Jacket may not be the best but there are people like me who are yet regular and loyal to this place.

I have been here once and the experience was not good. The food quality and service needs improvement.
