Candolim is perhaps the most upmarket beach in Goa, mostly because of the presence of large resorts which occupy most part of the beach and also because of small resorts with their own restaurants and bars and water facilities as well. These small entrepreneurs make available to their guests unhindered views of the sea and a beach largely free of crass commercialization. Palm Shade is one such enterprise and there are also rooms to rent here. The menu is dominated by seafood and Tandoori dishes. Try their Seafood Sizzler, Beef Steak Sizzler, Seafood Pasta, Chicken Tandoori, Kingfish Steak, Mixed Kebab Platter, Chicken Manchurian and Chicken Cafreal. Lovely views of the sea and a well-stocked bar add to the experience here.
