This open-air restaurant on the road leading to the Candolim beach is always abuzz with diners. Angaara is one of the busiest restaurant in this small cosy lane in the evenings. Though the menu is small, they have excellent Indian and Goan fare, and a lot for vegetarians as well. Don't miss their Murgh Makhni, Murgh Handi, Murgh Masala, Mutton Rogan Josh and Paneer Shashlik. Other good bets are Tandoori Chicken, Tandoori Pomfret, Beef Steak, kebabs and the grilled or barbequed seafood done with lobsters, tiger prawns, pomfret, tuna, red snapper, baby kingfish and Rockfish. In the European section, their specialities include Chateaubriand, Mushroom Steak, Beef Shashlik and Pork Chops.

The food is too good at Angaara and the restaurant being open, makes it all the more pleasant. A great dinner in open air with wine, makes it just perfect.
