The speciality of this 21-year-old restaurant is its succulent barbecued meat and excellent seafood preparations. Order the Barbecued Lobster if you are at Mico's. They also do a most satisfying platter of Liver with Bacon, Sausage and Mashed Potato, Pork Ribs, Red Wine Steak and Grilled Tiger Prawns. The dessert menu lists Apple Pie with Ice Cream, Chocolate Gateaux and Melon Boat with Ice Cream. The restaurant is set around a renovated Portuguese house; there's lounge seating on bean bags inside with a separate bar. You can also choose to dine on the verandah or on their well-manicured lawns, while listening to Indian classical fusion music. Open Oct-Apr.

A friend of mine suggested Mico’s, located at Candolim. I went there few days back and truly the ambiance was a great turn-off. I ordered barbecued meat and a platter of Liver with Bacon. The food was below average and didn’t find it worth visiting. I also had Apple Pie with Ice Cream, which was good.
