The Village is a poolside Indian speciality restaurant at the grand Holiday Inn in South Goa. The alfresco restaurant, which is open only for dinner, is hugely popular with the foreign tourists for the delectable Tandoori Kebab they offer. They have a long menu, with all the Indian classics like Dal Makhni, Mutton Biryani, which is the Mughlai style rice dish with lamb pieces, slow cooked over charcoal, Veg Jalfrezi or mixed vegetables in a masala which you can have with Tandoori Roti or Naan. There's a well-stocked bar and the ambience at night is quite enchanting, with live acoustic music. Open Oct-May

The speciality of The Village restaurant is its location. The restaurant is poolside, foreigners are attracted towards it, and the food is worth trying. Live music makes the dinner all the more perfect.

I simply fell in love with this place because of its tranquil view, apart from that, the food is Indian classics which is to die for. There more to feel than to see in this place ..and its quite romantic for that perfect dinner.
