The soft breeze whispers as it caresses your face, the tree fronds sway to an unknown melody, the pathway twists and turns as it meanders its way towards a fixed destination and suddenly your nostrils are assailed with the aroma of spices that wafts through the air. Sizzling treats - yes that is what is in store for you as you enter a bio fenced enclosure with the stars twinkling high above. The chefs have displayed their mise-en-place for the dinner - lobsters, tiger prawns, fish, chicken, steaks - all marinated and ready for the grill. The ambience is one of warmth and buzzing with activity. The chef's innovative combinations are the focus of the evening. Take the Chef's Seafood Platter - lobster, tiger prawns, kingfish and baby pomfret, each one marinated in a different spice. Lobster in basil butter, tiger prawns in Cajun spices, the kingfish in a green coriander sauce while the baby pomfret in a tangy tomato marinade. Counting colours in a rainbow? It's here to see. And as for the taste it's awesome. Another classic full meal innovation is the Special Barbeque Combo Platter - seven different combinations. Take the case of the Oceanic - a starter where one has a choice of Squid Chilli Garlic or the Shrimp Caesars Salad. Follow this with the above mentioned Chef's Seafood Platter with garlic bread and then dessert. Besides seafood one can also order the pepper crusted Tenderloin Steak - a great combo. Or perhaps dine on the Cidade Mixed Meat Grill, Paprika Marinated Chicken Breasts, Hoisin Ginger Marinated Beef, Pork Filet Marinated with olive oil and mustard……a mix worth mentioning. And throughout the night the sizzle is in the air...It is the Barbeque at Cidade for sizzling treats.

In the lazy evening just walk into Barbeque restaurant with your loved one and have a great time together. This place is set not too far from the city yet the ambience is something which is missing in most of the other places.
In the menu their Squid Chilli Garlic, Meat Grill and Tiger Prawns are the best one can have.

The natural environment of the surrounding is further made mesmerizing by the aroma and feel of Barbeque restaurant, one of my favorite places in Goa. I went with my better half and just got lost in the beauty and food of this place. For the non vegetarians this restaurant is one of the best things that can happen to them. Tiger Prawns, Lobsters, fish and much more appetizing things are waiting for diners. I am in love with their Tiger Prawns in Cajun Spices besides anything else that the chef suggests. Barbeque is a delight for the senses.
