Blink and you might miss it, but this small restaurant on the ground floor of the prominent Sirsat Building serves some great Goan food. The tinted glass panes keep the world at bay while you eat and drink in air-conditioned comfort. Their Mackerel Recheado and Fish Curry Rice are superbly done. Crispy starters like Prawn-stuffed Papad and Goan Sausage Chilly Fry make a great beginning to the meal. They have a small selection of North Indian and Chinese dishes to please all palates. Their modestly-sized prawns and fish come at down-to-earth prices. Stop here if you're visiting the Mapusa Market and bite into some Goan-style Batter-fried Prawns while you drink a beer and you quite enjoy the experience. Open throughout the year.

A comfortable restaurant to go in, Bertsy’s Bar and Restaurant is small and cozy place. I liked the Fish Curry Rice and specially the presentation. Prawn-stuffed Papad and Goan Sausage Chilly Fry were also nice offered at this restaurant. The ambiance is cozy and average. Even the service is average. Waiters are quite slow but friendly.
