This unpretentious eatery, the oldest restaurant in the scenic area, ensures good value for money and commands spectacular views of the open sea at the confluence of the Mandovi and Zuari rivers. Ask for some Fried Prawns made Goan-style, with a light seasoning of spices and crumb fried or the Fried Mussels, if the shellfish is in season. They are famous for their Choris Pau, the Goan spicy sausage bread sandwich, so you might want to try one here. The North Indian and Chinese fare are avoidable. This is a place for a good, no-nonsense Fish Curry Rice or Prawn Curry Rice. Ask for Fried Kingfish as a side order. And enjoy your beer and the view.
