Where does a vegan go when he feels hungry? Where do we all go for the Indian fast food when in Goa? Mr Carlos Tavora's concept - a place called the 'nine stars' - Navtara. Fast food, quick service, simple amenities and the menu too is nine starred. Take a look what is on offer. South Indian and fast food. We just love that fast food - samosa, wada, cutlet. In addition, there are 30 plus items listed in that section. Besides old favourites like the Uttapam, Dosa etc. They offer a Szchewan and a Noodle Dosa too. The Pizza. A vegetarians pizzeria. The toppings are unique and creative - cheese jalapeno, mex tex even a navtara. Nine varities of pizzas and all vegetarian. Sandwiches and burgers and pav bhaji. Shades of a Subway and Mc Donalds rolled into one. Grilled or plain. In white bread or brown bread. The vegetarians new address. The chaat counter. Every Indians longing puri…puri…puri - bhel, sev, dahi, pani. Ragda Pattice features here too. The Thali. 3 special thalis includes a mini take away too - just right for people who need to carry away a lunch for a long journey. North Indian Bonanza. The variety is great - twelve paneer preparations, six mushroom preparations plus vegetables of different varities. Chinese. Indi chin-chin-Szechwan, Manchurian and even a Hongkong with noodles and Fried Rice too. Desserts, icecreams and kulfi. 30 plus items listed on the menu...burp. And if one just wants a refreshing halt as cars normally stop by for a rest, then there are mocktails, juices, health beverages, milkshakes, falooda, lassi…slurp. The nine stars situated at three specific locations has it all ready for you.

I see this place as a quick service place for a very quick Indian breakfast. The south Indian and Chinese fusion breakfast items like the Noodle Dosa a quite a hit in here also North Indian mini thalis are a fast way to fill the tummy for the day. The service of this place is impeccable and that keeps this place ahead of many other establishments.

Navtara brings you south Indian and Indian fast food that are simply irresistible for many of us. So wada, samosa, cutlets. uttapams and dosas are big and ordered the most in here.
Ragda Pattice is my favorite in Navatara. They also have pizza and a number of other things for relish. Do visit.
