What is the Goan recipe for happiness? Good food and a Susegad lifestyle. The most important aspect in every local Goan's mind is what is cooking in their curry pot. And invariably it is fish. Susegad is the Goan laid-back approach to life… families found partaking in a meal together. And there is a place in Panaji with the elements of a casual environment - the bustle of waiters, the clink of crockery and the clang of the thalis as they emerge from the kitchen onto the table. Ritz Classic! This multi-cuisine restaurant offers Indian, Chinese, Tandoori and Goan food. The Goan Fish Thali is the traditional fare - a bountiful spread of the Xitt-Kodi (rice and prawn curry), Prawn Kishmur (a perfect mix with it), a fresh fish fried to perfection, the Teesroi (shellfish) with coconut, a local preparation of vegetable which is changed everyday… and for digestion the Sol Kodi (a kokum drink). When crabs are available, the thali is dressed with a spicy mix of the Crab Masala. Mouth-watering fare! For an à la carte meal, try the Squid Masala Fry or Crab Dry Fry. It will 'dry-fry' your senses after it has absorbed every salivary juice in the chewing process. Although Goan favourites like Chicken Xacuti are available, the seafood is definitely recommended. Baby Chonak Tandoori is another 'hot' favourite served piping hot from the Tandoor. If you find a long line of people waiting to be served, do not despair. The service is not Susegad. This place firmly believes in VFM (very fast movement as well as value for money). Imbibe a jostling 'festa' atmosphere of fish and food at Ritz Classic.

If ever you want an authentic kitchen food of Goan's don't look further. Ritz classic is the crown among the all goan restaurants. I loved fish platter,, big crab when available and fish thali. do not ask for chicken and mutton dishes as they are average or below average.
Favorite Dishes / Drinks: all fish preparation.

The tourists may eat anywhere in Goa, but the locals eat at Ritz.
Lovely food and very economical rates.
Service is decent and a couple of waiters are very friendly.
What i loved out here was the fish Xacuti with goan bread.
Truly the best fish curry i have had in Goa.
Also the praws masala/ butter garlic fried are awesome.
Avoid chicken out here. Only sea food :)
Favorite Dishes / Drinks: King Fish Xacuti and Goan Bread

Having heard only good things about this place, I decided to check it out on a hot sunny afternoon. Wasn’t sure what to eat so decided to try my favorite dish, the fish curry. I ended up trying the seafood platter which was simply yummy and lip smacking.
