This is probably the most popular cafe in Panaji and has recently been renovated with the old kitchen being replaced by an elegant, air-conditioned dining area that offers an all-new menu. They used to serve snacks like samosas, Poori Bhaji and some tea, coffee and cold drinks but now offer lunch and dinner specials. Their Poori Bhaji continues to be famous especially because they are served piping hot on the table and can be enjoyed with Sukhi (potato) Bhaji or Aloo Subzi as it is called in Goa. This is a good place to try the popular Goan vegetable dish, Patal Bhaji, which is a type of Chana Masala. The new menu has North Indian veggie delights like Jalfrezi, Kadai Paneer, Malai Kofta and Veg Biryani. There's also a limited Chinese menu with items like Gobi Manchurian and Babyco Chilli. They also have juices, milk shakes and faludas here. Open throughout the year.
