This is one of the most busiest and popular eateries in Panaji…its Cafe Bhonsle.. Apart from the snacky preparations like samosas and Poori Bhaji, that it was known for earlier, the lunch and dinners are also packed to capacity. Their Poori Bhaji continues to be famous especially because they are served piping hot on the table and can be enjoyed with Sukhi (potato) Bhaji (as Aloo Subzi is called in Goa). Their thali is very popular and is modestly priced at Rs. 60. It's a good place to try the popular Goan vegetable dish, Patal Bhaji, which is a type of Chana Masala. The North Indian veggie delights like Jalfrezi, Kadhai Paneer, Malai Kofta and Vegetable Biryani are good options. There's also a limited Chinese menu with items like Gobi Manchurian and Babycorn Chilli. With juices, milk shakes and faludas it boasts about being a place with the all important tag - value-for-money.
