Almost a relic from a bygone era, this family-run restaurant exclusively serves no-frills Goan Catholic cuisine. As a result, there's a good range of fish, beef and pork items. The only vegetarian item available here is Veg Goan Fried Rice. We recommend the Roast Beef Tongue Fry, which is what it says: thin slivers of beef tongue cooked in a roast masala gravy and fried. Then there's the Goan-style Beef Steak, which is served in a greenish-brown gravy with a sunny side up egg on top and potatoes. It's an old Goan favourite. Other inclusions on the menu are Beef or Pork Chilly Fry, Beef or Pork Sausage Fried Rice and Fish Curry Rice. Don't miss the Fried Fish Salad with the fish cooked as you like it. Their Crumb-fried Pork Chops go well with drinks or as a mid-morning snack. The only soup available is the Meat Soup, which is an old Goan staple. Don't expect any dessert item or ambience here and the eating experience won't disappoint.
