Pakeeza is a homely, family restaurant run by a Muslim family, where the ladies do the cooking. Although they offer a limited menu, it is difficult to find a place at lunch time at this small eatery. They serve some delicious Chicken and Mutton Biryani and a satisfying, home-style Kingfish Curry Rice Thali. The other two items available are Veg Thali and an impressive Prawn Curry Thali, which includes some big, batter-fried juicy prawns with a coating of Goan spicy masala in a curry base. The women waiters also serve some Raita on request. The taste is as close to home food as is possible, which they manage because they're only open for lunch and by 3pm, everything has been polished off. For beverage, you get some cold drinks.

Pakeeza Restaurant is like a home where one gets nice home cooked food, however the only difference is one has to order and make payment for the food. In fact, my single friends who are living away from their family loves coming to this restaurant and I also love giving them company. In food, non veg Biryanis are lip smacking and Prawn Curry Thali is my favorite in here. The food of Pakeeza Restaurant is prepared and served by women and they are actually offering a great service to their diners.
