Sartaj is a hugely popular place in Panaji for its Muslim-style food. So, if you're looking for some affordable Mughlai cuisine, then try this small eatery next to Don Bosco's, on the road to St. Inez. The Chicken and Mutton Biryani here is quite decent and is made in a reasonably authentic way. They also serve a delicious Keema to be had with pav or chapatti. The very limited menu also includes Egg Masala, Chicken Roll and Chana Masala. The prices are very down-to-earth but the portions quite small. For quick somethings, they offer samosas, batatawadas, patties, sandwiches and some hot and cold beverages. They're also famous for their bottled Fresh Lime Soda. It's a great thirst quencher!
