The sari is made of various kinds of threads which the artistic weaver weaves together on his handloom. Long threads of different hues are put together to get the intricate pattern. So what has a sari got to do with food one might ask? Not when you see the chefs at work in a restaurant by the riverside called Simply Grills. If you take a peek into the kitchen you will see the chefs busy working on the food. The long rods of the grill becomes the handloom and with the chef's painstakingly adding ingredients one at a time to add the colour and finesse, just like a weaver who would so painstakingly create a unique work of art. The Pork Chops being woven as was the New Zealand Lamb Rack and this would take some handling to ensure that the meat is well cooked and succulent with the jus complementing the taste. Or if seafood is the need of the hour, order the Lobster Thermidor. Creamy with the right amount of spices woven into the meat, the shell is the packaging for visual appeal. The creative chefs' hard at work making the prawns with garlic and thyme weave a dish to call it thine. Yes there is romance in the air too and if you begin to spout poetry blame it on the magic woven in the preparations. With candle light flickering on the tables, the soft balmy breeze feathering your brow, let the magic play on. Even the chocolate is not spared with the chilli weave —the fusion of spice is in the chef's Hot Chocolate. Or play safe with the Irish Cheese Cake. After all Simply Grills is pure creativity of the chefs (weaver) who are able to conceptualise a change from the traditional, yet keeping the original cultural aspects intact.

The chef at the Simply Grills is not working simply, he is creating some of the best taste of the city by bringing together various ingredients and carefully adding them on the dishes. This hard is evident the moment you take a bite of Pork Chops, New Zealand Lamb rack or Lobster Thermidor.
Rest the ambience is not all that great or the services can be improvised, otherwise Simply Grills is fine enough.
