This restaurant is housed in a Spanish-style hacienda right on Morjim Beach's turtle bay, close to where the Olive Ridley turtles come to nest and lay their eggs. The mostly Russian-European food is very good and value for money. You get the Russian favourites like red beetroot soups, Borscht Red Beet Soup with Sour Cream, which is the hot version and Cold Red Beet Soup which is a cold soup. For starters, you could go for either momos with fillings of your choice from seafood, chicken or beef, or try the superb Beef Crispy Pieces with spicy sauce, which are grilled slivers of beef with a spicy Russian marinade. There are a lot of potato dishes: Boiled Potatoes with dil, Potatoes Fried with onions, Potato Cutlet with mushroom sauce or if you're in the mood for some seafood, Kingfish Steak with potatoes. They also have pastas, salads, ice creams, milk shakes, juices and a long bar menu.

I was at Hotel Casablanca for a business meeting on 25th October. The client was from France but was quite comfortable with the ambiance. It was ordinary place with simple and plain décor. After the meeting, we decided to have food there and ordered soups. I had Borscht Red Beet Soup; it was an average dish for me. Then for starters, we had Beef Crispy Pieces with spicy sauce. For me it was good but my client couldn’t eat the dish as it was very spicy. We skipped the main course and had ice-cream, which was the best thing of the place.
