Blue Waves is one of the few shacks to dot the Majorda beach in South Goa and offers a very relaxing ambience right on the silvery white sands. You can sit inside or out on a beach bed and they also offer boat rides. Tandoori grills and seafood is the speciality here and the portions are quite substantial with over a dozen big prawns to a portion, all grilled to perfection and served with a crunchy salad. They also serve superb Goan cuisine and you could try the Beef Chilly Fry or Pork Chilly Fry and Goan seafood like Pomfret Recheado - the stuffed fish which is a Goan legend, the Kingfish Curry and Fish Steaks of tuna, sharkfish or kingfish. The North Indian food though is not too hot and the Chinese is also quite basic. They have a decent bar menu and best of all, a great beach view.
