Good Man’s is a popular hangout with the expat crowd in Colva because of its friendly service and wide ranging menu which has something for everyone. The emphasis, though, is on European and English food and they serve some innovative pies, like a Chicken and Pineapple Pie, and you also get the standard Chicken Shepherds Pie, which are popular with the British crowd. The taste of some dishes like the soups and salads, though, is a bit on the blander side, but if you like that, go for the French Onion Soup or Minesterone Soup. But there’s very good variety if you’re an international foodie with western delights like Caribbean Lobster, Caribbean Tiger Prawns, which come in a piquant rum-based sauce, Chicken Maryland - American-style deep-fried chicken, the very bland Roast London Chicken, and lots more including a 400 gm Steak, the real thing, in choice of sauce. Stick to these international favourites and you can’t go wrong at Good Man’s. They also have pastas, salads, sizzlers, pizzas, lasagne, etc. Besides of course some Chinese rice and noodles, North Indian veg and non-veg, which is about average, and Tandoori and some Goan dishes like Pulao, Stuffed Fish Recheado - a seafood speciality unique to Goa and very spicy, Pork Assado - which is a pork dish with masala, Fish Caldein - a fish stew, Xacutti, another spicy Goan curry, etc.rnn Venom, Colva Beach Road, Colva, Salcette, Goa
