This is an elegant shack on the quiet Betalbatim beach stretch, a little north of Colva and is a popular hangout with charter tourists. The menu is varied and offers lots of international favourites along with North Indian gravies and Tandoori and Goan delicacies. The Tandoori kebabs (grills) are the favourites here, so you could try the various grills like the perennial hot choice, Chicken Tandoori, Chicken Hariyali and vegetarians can opt for the veg kebabs of paneer (Indian cottage cheese), gobi, mushroom, etc. European steaks, salads and pastas are also well made here, but are really not all that fancy. It’s the Tandoori Seafood that is a big hit here, and you can go for the Tandoori Lobster/Tiger Prawns/Crabs, though you should check the price first. The lobster is grilled whole, with the spicy red Tandoori masala gelling well with the flavours of the sea. You can sit out on a beach bed and enjoy your meal. Or if you’re here to spend the day on the beach, you can also hire a cycle and pedal away on the deserted beach stretch. They also have all kinds of breakfasts, juices, milk shakes and other beverages, and a good bar menu.
