There is a Boat Quay in Singapore, for good food and entertainment. Would a restaurant by that name give us ‘a key to good food’ here in Goa? Right on the beach there is a seductively lit place with elegantly moulded white fiberglass furniture brought in from Italy. Start with the Prawn Stick cocktail. It’s an old recipe with a new twist. Another spirited favourite is the Beer Battered Fried Fish. After aperitifs move over to the attractively laid tables. The crockery-each preparation has its own styled plate…a seashell for the seafood…an oval one for the chicken...and a thali ‘styled’ one for Indian. Chicken Satay or Mixed Seafood Brochettes with it’s Terriyaki sauce complements the skewer of calamari, prawn and fish to perfection. Fish lovers this is your key to unlock those cravings. But wait till you try those Grilled Tiger Prawns. Those king sized babies will have your salivary glands oozing. Lightly dusted with masala its ‘seafood’ taste remains intact. The desserts too add to the flamboyance. A big bowl and a ladle, brought to the table, the ladle lit, the spirit belching flames in the night air and poured into the bowl. Flambeed gulab jamun…the brandy soaks into the syrup and into your senses. If one takes a look at the economics for this ‘sizzling’ affair check the prices. Competitive to the core. So a combo of old favourites with innovations, competitive pricing, an environment unparalleled for enjoyment… the key is definitely with Boat Quay Grill.

Get entertained while having great food at Boat Quay Grill restaurant. The lighting and ambience of this restaurant is so serenading and romantic that I always come with much time in hand and with great company of friends. In food, Beer Battered Fried Fish, Grilled Tiger Prawns are much desirable dishes of this place and it is not even heavy on the pocket.

To grab Chicken Satay or Mixed Seafood Brochettes, Boat Quay Grill is a place. Prawns at their perfection, the place serves everything with care. However, I didn’t find few of its dishes worth even trying like Grilled Tiger Prawns. The ambiance is good and service is average. You can have gulab jamun after your meal. They are delicious and worth trying.
