Apart from the good food here, the place is worth a visit for the sweeping views of Margao city from the 6th floor restaurant, which has windows all around the chic dining area. They're also one of the best places in Goa for a delicious thali (Indian combo) meal with an unusual Goan Chicken Thali (Rs.110) which comes with Chicken Roast, Chicken Xacutti, Chicken Goan Masala, a vegetable, rice, etc. Also worth a try is the delicious Indian Non-veg Thali which comes with nimbuwali kukkat, a sweet-sour curry, a chicken kebab, Aloo Gobi, mint rice, rotis, gulab jamun, etc, making for a full meal at Rs.110. There are other thalis too. Apart from the usual North Indian Chicken Masala and Mutton do Pyaza, they also have the southern Indian Koli Chettinad, the Irani Tikka, Prawns Seekh Kebab, Tandoori Khumb and much more, including Indian soups like Dal Palak Shorba and the Goan-Portuguese Caldo Verde - vegetable soup. The setting is elegant with a wooden flooring, and the service prompt and friendly.

Goa Chicken Thali of Tavir is lavish and has so many chicken dishes that I just can not complaint about anything here. Tandoori Khumb and Irani Tikka are other dishes one must try in this wonderful and not so usual restaurant.

The interior and location of Tavir restaurant is wonderful and relaxing. From this 6th floor restaurant the view of the surrounding is really nice and the huge glass windows also make sure that there is ample natural light throughout the day. In food, as expected this place also serves good Goan food and I quite like their Goan Chicken Thali and Chicken Xacutti. My family loves coming here and sitting in this relaxing ambience for good, tasty food.
