The menu at Syn has just become bigger and better, with the addition of Japanese specialities like Temaki, (hand-rolled cocktail sushis), Bitsu Makimono (modern decorative rolls), Oshi Zushi (pressed sushi), and Sarada, (Japanese salads), besides adding a host of teppanyaki options. Try the Yasai Sarada, shredded crispy iceberg lettuce with tempura crunch and miso mayo, its fresh, crisp and delightful. Sakana Salada Temaki, a mixed seafood salad with Japanese seven spice and wrapped in dried nori seaweed is a gourmet experience, while those with vegetarian leanings, might want to try the Crunchy Potato Maki. Some Vietnamese specials have also been added to Syn's repertoire, like Hanoi Corn Cakes, Crispy Fried Soft Shell Crab in Butter Garlic, Grilled Chicken in Saigon Marinade, Fried Prawns Sesame on Sticks, Fresh Rice Paper Rolls with Tofu and Vegetables, besides the already hugely popular Pho or the rice noodle soup, available in both vegetarian and non-vegetarian versions. The Zucchini and Sweet Potato in Yellow Cari (curry in Vietnamese) is a creamy delight, especially savoured with Jasmine Rice. The Thai list remains strong on the menu, like the Pla Rad Prik (crispy fried fish in a tangy red sauce with Thai herbs) or Phad Kai Kapprao (stir fried mince chicken with holy basil), the Phad Thai noodles and Thai style fried rice. Thai bestseller desserts are Tub Tim Grob, that water chestnut delicacy in coconut milk, or even the Orange Makroot Baked Yoghurt. Or how about finishing off, instead, with the newly-launched wasabi or green tea ice cream? And before we forget, don't forget to try their in-house martinis with a twist, like the wasatini, which is spiked with wasabi!

The elegance of Taj Hotel and my favorite Japanese cuisine served at the Syn – Asian Grill And Bar definitely reasons enough for me to visit this place again and again. Oshi Zushi, Sakana Salada Temaki is my favorites. The food here is quite authentic and delicious in taste. In non veg seafood is superior to lamb and chicken for me in here at the Syn – Asian Grill And Bar. Get experimental and try out newer dishes and flavors here in an ambience that ensures good eating.

Syn-Asian Grill & Bar is serving Pan Asian delicacies for quite sometime now and also at the same time extending their menu. The menu seem to have much more option and variety with the inclusion of new Japanese and Vietnamese dishes, such as Temaki, Oshi Zushi, Yasai Sarada and many new lip smacking dishes to try and enjoy.
Syn-Asian Grill & Bar has reinvented itself with the new menu.
