The theme of the decor at Guffa matches with the name of this restaurant serving North-West Frontier cuisine. The staff are dressed as hunters. The lighting, though a bit too dim, also goes well with the theme. A wide variety of kebabs and curries are on offer. The Talwar Kebab, chicken marinated in Afghani spices and served on a flaming sword, is a delight - a spectacle to watch as much as to savour. Also do check out the Jhinga Jalandhari, Murgh Handi Lazeez, Murgh Jashan and Peshawari Tangdi Kebab. For veggies, the Corn Kebab (both babycorn and crispy corn) is a good choice. For the main course, highly recommendable are the Pather Gosht and the Sikandri Raan. The Dal Bhukari go well with the assortment of Indian breads. Guffa makes for a delightful eating out destination.

Theme based restaurants are a specialty of the Ohris Group and Gufaa is no exception.
Built around motifs of caves and forest with waiters dressed in hunting attire - the ambiance and setting is very unique and an experience on its own.
Valet parking is a God sent on the busy Basheerbagh road.
Dinner with a party of 6 was the last encounter at Gufaa. The complex also houses other theme based restaurants and a full service hotel too.
Purely North West frontier cuisine is what marks the menu.
We took the lamb shorba as soup and the mix tandoori platter as the starter.
The shorba and the starters were amazing. The meat on the platter was perfectly spiced and seasoned and cooked to a perfection.
Main course was the Hyderabadi Dum Biryani and a Butter chicken to go with it.
One of the best BIryanis in town other than the traditional Irani biryani houses. The chicken curry was very good as well.
Desserts followed - rabdi or rasmalai - awesome.
A little pricey but it was worth every penny.
Cheers
Rahul
