Have you ever had the entire bar say “Hi” to you upon walking in it? This is exactly what happens at the ITC Kakatiya, which is a pub fashioned around the Irish theme. This is also a place where toasts, jokes and blessings form the order of the day. The range of good old Irish ale and a painstaking reconstruction of Irish public houses add to the experience. There are a lot of interesting things on display: Clay soda bottles arranged on soft-lit shelves, boot-shaped beer mugs, glamourous Martini glasses and the yard of ale. The lovely wooden interiors welcome you and the spirits take care of the rest. The selection is inspiring, ranging from a variety of single malts to a choice of new-age wines and delightful cocktails with exotic names, blended to perfection by the bartender. Take your pick from Margarita, Long Island Iced Tea, Manhattan and many more cocktails and mocktails. The food is made up of Nachos, Salt 'n' Pepper Baby Corn, Salt 'n' Pepper Prawn, Fish Fingers, Pizzas and so on. Last Cocktail, SSS and Mauryan Shour have been introduced recently. If you want something more filling, check out the Smorgasbord, which is a Swedish platter of cold and hot foods and can be eaten as a sandwich or by itself. On weekends, the dance floor comes alive and therea cover charge of Rs. 1000 per couple and stags are not allowed. Special events are held every day. On Fridays, the place has a new look based on its theme - Mexican, Halloween and so on. Lovers of country music will like to come here on Wednesdays, which are Classic Nights. On Saturdays, the DJ plays club hits.
