This latest addition to the five-star coffee shop category from the Taj Vivanta stable doesn't disappoint with its food. The menu is primarily Italian, although there are Indian, (with a good presence of Hyderabadi fare), Oriental and Mediterranean undertones too. Try the Mushroom cappuccino, it's a culinary delight, and so is the Bocconcini and Confit Tomato Salad. For starters, try the Mirin Prawns, Wok Fried Crispy Tofu or the Royal Shikampoor, they are all well done. There are pastas (all made fresh in-house), try the Spinach and Ricotta Tortelloni, and pizzas, the Pizza a la Polo as well as the seafood ones are good. In Hyderabad, do as Hyderabadis do, so on the menu there is Lagan Ka Murgh, Kacchi Gosht ki Biryani, Nalli ka Korma, Safed Pyaaz ke Dulme (a signature dish of the chef). For desserts, do try the Warm Gianduja Chocolate Tart, with 60 per cent cocoa cream, need we say more? There are also Hyderabadi delights like the Zafraani Khoobani ka Meetha, Double ka Meetha and Seviyan ka Muzzafar.

Viva restaurant's variety of food is very interesting and reason for me to visit this place more frequently. Basically, their Hyderabadi and Italian dishes are my favorite. Pizzas, pastas, Kacchi Gosht ki Biryani, Mirin Prawns are things hard to resist from eating here. This one easily qualifies to be one of my favorite restaurants in the city.

The elegant interiors and classy decoration of Viva attracts a lot of people to be there. I went there last week for a dinner with my family. The place was all filled. We waited for sometime and finally got the seat. We were there for 3 course meal. We started with starters. We ordered Mirin Prawns and Wok Fried Crispy Tofu. They were delicious. Later, we had Lagan Ka Murgh, Nalli ka Korma with some naans. I must appreciate the food. It was amazingly presented and taste was too good. For desserts, we had Gianduja Chocolate Tart. Décor, service and food, everything was just perfect. We enjoyed eating at Viva and waiting was quite fruitful too.
