Only those of you who truly love biryani can brave the frantic bustle of the Charminar area to dine at Shadab. There is a crowded cafe on the ground floor and a family dining area on the first floor, which is a kind of glorified Irani cafe with rich upholstery. Huge table fans whirl noisily as people jostle for space in the waiting area. It is not uncommon to have the next customer stand by your table even as you finish your meal. The biryani (mutton and chicken) here is a must-try and the kebabs too, (Reshmi, Tangdi, Hara Bhara chicken) are lip-smacking good. They serve delicious Haleem during Ramzaan. Also try the Qubani ka Meetha, it comes with a thick cream that adds a delicious flavour. They also serve the ubiquitous Chinese and North Indian fare. The cafe also offers breakfast.

The charm and attraction of Hyderabadi biryani resides in the biryani of Shadab Hotel. This two storey establishment has a café where I come in the daytime with friends and the first floor restaurant is for families. Haleem, Kebab and of course Biryani are the specialty of this place and during Ramzaan, Shadab Hotel is a hotspot in the city.

Hi All,
I went to this place along with my family..pl don't assume observing Shadab's external appearance..once you get into restaurant on 1st floor, you will get an aroma of authentic Hyderabadi Biryani around..!
(i) Chicken Dum Biryani is aaaaaaaaaaaaaawesome..I'm diehard fan of Paradise Biryani,now for me Shadab's is the best..! My mouth is watering while writing this review..im amused :)
(ii) Try chicken 65 with chicken dum biryani along with their special falooda..!
(iii) Daily after 6pm you will get best paya., must try if you're in Hyderabad..!
(iv) Most of the customers are National
