Spicy, spicier and spiciest seems to be the motto here, although you can always warn the steward taking your orders, about keeping the spice-meter down. The thalis (vegetarian and non-vegetarian, including seafood ones) are a good option, as they are representative of RR's repertoire, coming with a serving of Jonna (jowar) Rotis and Ragi Sankati, (that gooey dumpling made of rice and millets, with a neutral taste), best had with a dollop of ghee, which helps flush down the hot and spicy gravies of the accompanying curries and fries. You could supplement the thali with their bestsellers like Gongura Mamsam (mutton), Natu Kodi Pulusu (country chicken curry), Chapala (fish) Pulusu, Guntur Chilli Chicken and Peethala (crab) Pulusu. If you are in luck, Bommidayala Pulusu (river fish curry) might be available, and is well worth it. In line with Andhra tradition, instead of Hyderabadi biryani, you will find Andhra pulaos, Natu Kodi, (country chicken), mutton, kheema prawns and fish. Vegetarians have limited choices, but do try the Ulava Charu with plain steamed rice, its an experience! Also, the Gatti Venkaya Kura (stuffed brinjals curry), Palak Pappu, are good choices. Desserts choices are limited and traditional, like Bakshalu (Bobbatlu) and ice creams. The ambience differs from outlet to outlet, but we found the Jubilee Hills one the most contemporary and pleasant.

Being from north , I love to taste the south indian food . This is the place where i love to taste non veg and spicy food. The thalis (vegetarian and non-vegetarian, including seafood ones) are a good option, as they are representative of RRs repertoire, coming with a serving of Jonna (jowar) Rotis and Ragi Sankati, (that gooey dumpling made of rice and millets, with a neutral taste), best had with a dollop of ghee, which helps flush down the hot and spicy gravies of the accompanying curries and fries.
