Spicy, spicier and spiciest seems to be the motto here, although you can always warn the steward taking your orders, about keeping the spice-meter down. The thalis (vegetarian and non-vegetarian, including seafood ones) are a good option, as they are representative of RR's repertoire, coming with a serving of Jonna (jowar) Rotis and Ragi Sankati, (that gooey dumpling made of rice and millets, with a neutral taste), best had with a dollop of ghee, which helps flush down the hot and spicy gravies of the accompanying curries and fries. You could supplement the thali with their bestsellers like Gongura Mamsam (mutton), Natu Kodi Pulusu (country chicken curry), Chapala (fish) Pulusu, Guntur Chilli Chicken and Peethala (crab) Pulusu. If you are in luck, Bommidayala Pulusu (river fish curry) might be available, and is well worth it. In line with Andhra tradition, instead of Hyderabadi biryani, you will find Andhra pulaos, Natu Kodi, (country chicken), mutton, kheema prawns and fish. Vegetarians have limited choices, but do try the Ulava Charu with plain steamed rice, its an experience! Also, the Gatti Venkaya Kura (stuffed brinjals curry), Palak Pappu,are good choices. Desserts choices are limited and traditional, like Bakshalu (Bobbatlu) and ice creams. The ambience differs from outlet to outlet, but we found the Jubilee Hills one the most contemporary and pleasant.

This place used to be much better when I first visited couple of years ago. But now seems badly commercialized and not keen on making the patrons happy. Just rush job by serving food like throwing and sending the bill. I dont think I am going again. Food is worth but the service makes it unbearable.

Being from north , I love to taste the south indian food . This is the place where i love to taste non veg and spicy food. Once we went here with friends more chillies they are adding to food. But Rayalaseema means it should be good taste with spicy...

I loved this place and so did my friends. We were looking to eat authentic South Indian food and we truly landed at the right spicy south indian food place RR the palce is good and very polite and warm steward taking my orders and geting the food on time .the Ragi sankati and natu kodi pulusu and the guntur chill chicken and the food is awsome it is worth going agian for the best south indian spicy food.
