The Temptations outlets are run by the owners of Scoops, Hyderabad's best-known home-grown brand of ice cream. On the menu, besides ice creams, are ice cream sundaes and cakes, soda pops , milkshakes , brownies, as well as cold and hot combination of desserts like death by chocolates, chaats , grilled sandwiches. Ice creams come in fruit, nut, chocolate, exotic and sugar-free flavours. Bestsellers ice cream flavours include Kesar Thandai, Rose Petal, Orange Rush (seasonal) Kiwi Pineapple, Fresh Kala Jamun (seasonal), Brownie Scotch, Choco walnut , Banana caramel and Oreo cookie ice cream. In summers, the Fresh Alphonso Mango Ice cream is a big hit too. Fossil Fuel ice cream (German chocolate ice cream with hot bitter pastry chopped with fudge sauce and topped with fudge) is a bestseller, and some popular sundaes are Death by Chocolate, (hot, dark chocolate eggless pastry, with a scoop of ice cream drizzled with hot fudge chocolate sauce and roasted nuts). Ambience varies from outlet to outlet, but the basic informal parlour feel remains the same. Service is brisk.

My visits to Temptations is quite regular as I am staying with my uncle, aunty and their kids make sure that I get something from this place every now and then. In fact, I also became quite fond of this place due to its huge variety and great taste. I love the Kesar Thandai Ice Cream and Brownie Scotch. The milkshakes are also very tasty and grilled sandwiches are filling. Even though I go to Temptations to pick some desserts for kids but I end up eating a lot myself.

Temptations is true to its name. How can one resist massive variety of ice cream or milkshakes, soda pops, chocolates and many other lip smacking delicacies? I often try new things here but still i dont miss Kesar thandai which is beyond any comparison.
