Finally, Hyderabad has its stand-alone international restaurant. Be it the superb plant-dotted terrace ambience (thanks to owner Vikas Passary's green fingers), or its star attraction, Chef Gregory Bazire, (who besides having worked in Michelin-starred restaurants, runs a couple of his own bestseller ones in Goa), So is a winner, all the way. The menu is global, with Mediterranean, French, English, Goan, Japanese names. There is a complete section Egg-ceteras for egg lovers, and soups are under different categories, cold, warm and clear, there are salads galore, barbeque, burgers, sandwiches, risottos, pastas, rice and curry combos (Thai, Goan etc). For starters, the warm pita bread with hummus and aubergine caviar is perfect, and so are the Calamari Golden Fried and the Prawns Tempura with Sweet and Sour Pineapple Dip. The Bassa with Sundried Olives, Tomatoes and Capers is a delight, and the Masala Chicken Skewer is an interesting improvization. For soul food, Papillote, fish and vegetables steamed in foil and cooked in white wine and fish stock is superb. For vegetarians, Vegetable Moussaka is done well. For desserts, The Trifle of the Moment served with Fresh Fruits, Homemade Cake and Cream is guaranteed to bring you instant bliss. Blueberry Muffins are delectable in that fresh baked sense, The Warm Apple and Plum Crumble is also not to be missed.

Servers are efficient, the seating is comfortable - and I absolutely loved the food.....they have variety of cuisines and all are amazingly prepared and delicious......you just can't avoid noticing a single thing about the place....perfect decor, all very beautifully done and awesomely presented.....try their Bassa, Masala Chicken Skewer and Vegetable Moussaka .....along also don't miss Blueberry Muffins they are just too goood......

So Food & More is just the perfect name for this restaurant. I love going here because of its international menu and authentically prepared food. From English to Goan and Mediterranean this place is like a dream come true for food lovers like me.
The surprising element of the menu is a whole section dedicated to egg dishes. The rice and curry combos of different cuisine is my favorite. So Food & More is pure delight served on plate.

It's been quite long to feel this way and this is the very reason for me to write a review on SO. I felt happy.
It all started planning a Saturday evening out with friends, where we could just catch up and gossip over drinks. One of our techie friends reccomended the never heard 'SO' Mediterranean cuisne and it turned out to be one of the absolute best in Hyderabad.
First of all it's an open to sky restaurant, although they do have indoor and covered areas. The ambience is just superb! Beautiful garden and very plesant lighting. The seating is divided in chairs and wooden benches. Although we enjoyed the benches during our drinks, we preferred to move to a chaired table for our food. I guess the restaurant is designed that way to move around the corners and not just stick your bum to one place. It's truly a cozy cozy place.
The staff are reasonably good, attentive and did not hover around our table unless asked.
We had few starters, and I could have eaten all of that spicy grilled fish if my friend didn't dig in time. The barbecue flavour was fantastic. Do surely try the Ceviche, the amazing fish with mexican marination. Chicken wings were as classic too. The portions are fine, may be we could have liked a bit more on our plate (who wouldn't if the food is that good).
We skipped the soup, and just ordered few more rounds of spirits and cocktails.
The main course is again makes you talk less and eat more. I personally had Roast Chicken, that came with bit of veggie, mashed potatoes and spicy sauce. My friends did enjoy what did they order (can't even remember! may be the drinks...). I remember vaguely the Thai chicken curry wasn't to the best of my friend's expectation. May be that was the only odd-one-out.
Now came the desserts. The dark choco tarte was literally the icing on the cake. How the hell it could taste so smooth and nice? We also tried the brownies with pears (I think it was names differently). Simply gorgeous.
And if that was not enough... the live music filled the evening with memories and romance.
If it was open, we would have just sat there all night.
