Despite its vegetarian only tag, Little Italy remains the favourite for most Hyderabadis, when it comes to Italian fine-dining. The exhaustive menu (plenty of wood-fired thin and thick crust pizzas, antipastis or starters, pastas, risottos and desserts), courteous service and a neat ambience, act as great appetite enhancers. The décor is modern and simple, with glass windows on all sides, and allows you a great view of Jubilee Hills and beyond, there are a few alfresco covers too. Try Funghi Alla Trapanese (roasted mushrooms topped with an olive oil, garlic, lemon and parsley dressing) or Spinach Salsa, (spinach leaves tossed in butter mixed with special creamy cheese sauce), served with thin crispy toast, both are bestseller starters. The Mediterranean Pizza is a good option, and so is the spicy Sicilia, (topping of mozzarella, mushroom, garlic, pickled onion and sun dried tomatoes, all marinated in chilly oil). If you like risottos, try Corn Aspargi, its served with asparagus, melted in white wine and parmesan cheese. Pasta Barbaresca is another all time fave, in a creamy sauce with broccoli, tomatoes, garlic, sun-dried tomatoes, and parmesan cheese. For sweet endings, Dolci Dello Chef, a tiramisu sponge cake soaked in rum and coffee, topped with vanilla creme custard and sprinkled with chocolate powder is a must!

This is one place which makes a complete glutton out of any foodie sold on snacks and mithai, especially the North Indian kind. Be it the huge Raj Kachori (filled with an amazing chaat, along with dahi and chutneys), Chole Bhature (their spicy chole is the real McCoy), Aloo Tikki, Paani Puri, Dahi Papdi, Kachori-Sabzi, Paneer Pakoda, etc. There are other options too, like North Indian thalis, as well as more substantial fare like Kadhi-Chawal and Roomali Roti-Hyderabadi Chaap (yes, made with soya nuggets)! etc, and there are south Indian snacks like dosa, idli too, but we wouldnt want to wager a bet on them. Coming to sweets, there are dry fruit and kalakand burfis, with about 75 varieties, including premium versions such as Anjeer Chikki, Kaju Gujjiya, Pista Launj, Kashmiri Burfi etc. There are besan and Gond ke Laddoos, with huge sized versions called Shahi Besan ki Laddoo, etc. Then there are the Bengali chenna (paneer)-based and other milk-based perishable sweets, with classics such as Kancha Golar Sandesh, Gur Rasmalai, Natun Guler Sandesh, Mishti Doi, etc, as well as more commonplace stuff like Malai Chop, Raskadam, rasgulla etc. Dried snacks like mathris, mini samosas, kachoris, etc are also available, as well as dhokla varieties. They also have a restaurant upstairs, which offers a multi-cuisine vegetarian lunch and dinner buffet, which is nothing spectacular.

Tips: Get a table reserved before going,Accepts reservations,Has a dedicated smoking area,Has happy hours

This is one of my all time favourite restaurants - everything about the place right from the food to the ambience to the service has always been spectacular. The variety of their menu and options available in each section are great. Everything on their menu is numbered, so placing an order becomes easy for someone who isnt familiar with the cuisine and the names of the dishes. I love their pizzas, especially the Margherita - sort of reminded me of the pizzas I had in Italy. If you have a taste for Italian food and dont mind all vegetarian fare, then this place is a must visit. And even if you arent familiar with Italian cuisine, it is a great place to get started.

Little Italy is a veg specialty restaurant yet its menu is impressive with so many items to taste and admire. I do not come here regularly but whenever I am here I like to indulge in their awesome and lip smacking dishes like Antipasti, pastas, bruschettas and so ona dn so forth. In Pizza, Mediterranean Pizza is a must try and Spinach Salsa is lovely. The desserts and piping hot coffee is other subtle attraction of Little Italy. This restaurant is not only good for vegetarians but as a non vegetarian also I love the food in here.
