Hyderabad House is known for the quality of food it dishes up through its outlets dotting the city - Secunderabad, Kukatpally, Banjara Hills or even Shamshabad enroute to the airport. The USPof this restaurant is its accessibility from any part in the twin cities. Although mostly frequented for takeaways and home deliveries, most outlets have a few covers and the ambience is one of basic minimum fuss. The most popular takeaways have got to be the mutton and chicken biryanis and the good thing is that they do all sorts of portions, beginning with regular (for one), large (for two) and family pack for four. The portions are decent, and if you want extra meat, you can have it at an extra price too! Some of the dishes that have been added on the menu are Chicken Koti Mamsum, Methi Chicken and Patiala Chicken. The Shikampuri Kebabs are delicious here, with that melt-in-the-mouth quality and unadulterated, with only lamb mince and herbs, added with the most delicate flourish. The Bagara Baingan is excellent too, and so is the Mirchi ka Salan. Yes, and how could we forget the lukhmis? A delicious starter, lukhmi is a flatter version of samosa (but as crisp) with either vegetable or mutton filling. You may place your order for haleem (minimum 2kg) a day in advance at Hyderabad House, making it one of the few places in Hyderabad, where haleem is available, apart from only during the month of Ramzan. Desserts, especially the Khubani ka Meetha, Double ka Meetha and Fruit Salad, are quite good.
