Idli Dosa People, (IDP as the brand logo goes), which completed a year in Hyderabad recently, has everything going for it, fresh and tasty South Indian tiffin served in a decent ambience and good service. We would recommend the Karampodi Masala (or Plain) Dosa, with a generous dose of red-hot karampodi powder smeared on the insides of a crisp dosa and a generous aloo masala serving. The Capsicum and Cheese Dosa is another bestseller, packed as it is with cheese and a crunchy capsicum-onion filling. The recently-launched Idli 65 makes for a chatpata starter, so does Karam Idli. There are many more versions of dosas, including steamed dosa, and spring roll dosa, as well as uttapams including a pizza uttapam. Chocolate dosa remains its signature dish and so is the humbler sambhar-rice, which is soul food at its best. There are also corporate lunch box options which they deliver. We hear that a second outlet in Madhapur is in the offing. The filter coffee to wash it all down in the end, is just right, with the aroma and strength of the coffee beans intact, and frothy enough. Our only grouse: they could probably introduce more tiffin meals like upma, pongal etc and maybe a couple of desserts! IDP delivers lunch boxes to the corporate houses.

Be an Idly Dosa Person at the IDS Idly Dosa People and enjoy the popular dishes of South India. The gun powder chutney served with the dishes is reason for me to come to this place regularly. Cheese Dosa, Karam Idli is scrumptious and filling. IDS is all about bringing new ingredients in south Indian cuisine yet presenting the food in an authentic way. The tiffin service of this restaurant is very popular and many of my single friends are taking advantage of this service.

The tiffin service of IDP Idly Dosa People is getting really popular and I and my office colleagues are highly dependant of their food. Their Capsicum and Cheese Dosa and also Karampodi Masala Dosa are the most popular dishes from the menu. Their Idlis, Uttapams, Rasam and Filter Coffee are the popular orders. In fact, so many times this place supplies lunch boxes during any office events and I have tasted their food many times and also liked them a lot. IDP Idly Dosa People is a reliable name for authentic South Indian popular food.
