The Trident is located opposite the beautiful water-palace, Jal Mahal, an important tourist destination of Jaipur. The 98-cover restaurant here has been appropriately named Jal Mahal. When one talks of the Oberois', there is very little to say about the standard of food and the excellent service. The standard that the Oberoi chain is known for has been maintained here as well. The lavish buffet (Breakfast: Rs650; Lunch: Rs1,000; Dinner: Rs1,100; inclusive of taxes) spread has a selection of Indian, Chinese, French, Italian and Thai dishes. There are regular additions to the menu and a live pasta counter has recently been introduced. Like with all hotels, it is best to try the buffet during the last quarter of the year or the tourist season, when there seems to be more energy and more effort put into the buffet spread. The restaurant does excellent Murgh Kathi Roll, Steamed Fish Oriental Style, Red Thai Curry and Lasagne Bolognaise. If you want to try the a la carte menu, they will do Chinese and Thai dishes on request. The hotel is located on Amber Road, a little out of town, but the long drive is worth it.

Jal Mahal is a perfect place to have some luxurious delicacies. they serve delicious and yummy food. ambiance is lavish and striking. also, attention grabbing surroundings. service of the restaurant is amazing too. they are fast, friendly and polite. waiters are well-mannered and serve with a smile. i like their Murgh Kathi Roll, Steamed Fish Oriental Style, Red Thai Curry and Lasagne Bolognaise. A perfect place :)

Jal Mahal is a big restaurant that serves good number of people at a time. Just like the Jal Mahal this restaurant is also one of its kind and a landmark for tourists who look forward to eat some lavish buffets. The menu is not limited to Indian or Rajasthani delicacies only but the Thai and Chinese preparations are amazing. For me, Thai Red Curry and Steamed Fish are things to be must have in here. In terms of staff service also this restaurant is impressive.

Here the food is served with quite impressive and attentive service in a wonderful location that overlooks the Jal Mahal. Every time I visit this place I find some wonderful additions on the menu and all dishes taste great..At place makes sure that no one leaves disappointed..
