When it started, Handi was a rather plain and simple-looking eatery that became popular for its non-vegetarian food. It had very basic seating and hardly anything in its décor to give it a semblance of style. Even the narrow passage leading to the restaurant was rather shabby and took you through the smoky though delicious aroma of tikkas and Tandoori Chicken as the barbecue is set up at the entrance of the restaurant. But all that has changed now - the walls of the passage are attractively painted, it's a clean and inviting area that leads you to a neat sitting area. Today, it has smartened up considerably and has the customary uniformed waiters and smarter furniture. People always went there for food and fortunately, the quality of the food has been maintained. Go for their non-veg fare, though there is enough variety for veggies as well. Difficult to recommend any one item as almost all their chicken and mutton dishes are excellent - but try the Chicken Tikkas, Butter Chicken and the biryani.

Handi is an excellent place to have some scrumptious and delectable fares. The ambiance is cozy and cool…it is relaxing and really very nice to sit at….Chicken Tikka Masala, Dal Tadka and Corn Methi Malai are too good to have….also, the service of the place is brisk and waiters are well-mannered and polite…reasonable at pocket and a good family restaurant.
