The Jal Mahal restaurant in Sheraton Rajputana is the hotel's acknowledgement and tribute to the royal cuisine of Rajasthan. You will get only buffets here (Breakfast: Rs.600; Lunch: Rs.800; Dinner: Rs.950. Taxes extra). A carefully thought-out and planned menu gives you both a taste of different cuisines as well as traditional Rajasthani cuisine from different parts of the colourful state. It also helps when the chef himself is a true-blue Rajasthani and knows his Ker Sangri and Kachri and understands the difference between soolas and soyeta. Other than the staple Laal Maas and Safed Maas, there is Chakki ka Saag and Gatta Curry as well as Bajre ka Soyeta. The food is good and it's worth a visit for a taste of genuine Rajasthani food.

At Jal Mahal restaurant the taste and dishes on the whole of Rajasthan can be tried out and I always recommend this one to my friends who are not from Rajasthan. After the much popular Laal Maas try their Safed Maas and also do not forget to taste Bajre Ka Soyeta delicious and very filling. Not too many places in the city are as great as this one with the Rajasthani food and generous staff service. Jal Mahal is a royal treat and a must visit.

Jal Mahal offers only buffets that are carefully designed for providing the best taste of the royal Rajasthan. The food here is fine example of traditional Rajasthani food. Jal Mahal prepares great Gatta Curry and Chakki Ka Saag.

I had gone here with few of my friends and I really liked the place. The best thing about this place is that it gives you traditional flavours of Rajasthan. The very famous rajasthani thali is amazing. Go to this place as you will surely love it. I loved the aromas of the state.
