Synopsis

A romantic story that revolves around language barriers. It’s about a boy who hails from Mysore and a girl from North Karnataka who speak Kannada differently – the way it’s spoken in their respective regions.

Director Preetham Gubbi could have done a better job by concentrating more on the narration bit. The slow pace doesn't help to take the story forward and lags a little in the second half.

Critic's Review

Movie Review: However, it's a good attempt by Gubbi to select an apt hero who speaks Mysore Kannada and the heroine who communicates in North Karnataka Kannada. While the hero is versatile in Mysore Kannada, the actress struggles to speak North Karnataka Kannada. Eventually, we find a mixture of Mysore and North Karnataka Kannada which is not really convincing. Hats off to the director for a good script, but the narration takes a beating, especially with the second half testing your patience.

The story goes like this. Siddu (Yash) from Mysore falls in love with Rukmini (Deepa Sannidhi), who's from Belgaum. Rukmini's father Rudregowda (Shobhraj) fixes her marriage with another boy. Siddu then decides to forget her as he gives more importance to Rukmini's family prestige. As the story progresses, we realize that Rukmini, as a baby, was found abandoned in a temple and raised by Rudregowda. There is also another boy in the family who wants to marry Rukmini. Then comes the climax which eventually brings Siddu and Rukmini together. What's the climax?

While Yash rocks with a scintillating performance, Deepa Sannidhi shines as a girl from North Karnataka but could have done a better job. Music by V Harikrishna has some catchy tunes; cinematography by Krishna doesn't stand up to his reputation.

There is absolutely nothing in this movie. Not worth watching at all. Only attraction is Rangayana Raghu sir, who entertains for max 10-15 mins with his comedy. Yash does not fit to be a hero at all. Though Deepa Sannidhi is a good looking heroine, she does not look that great in the movie because of not so good makeup. Except the title song, all other songs are horrible, you wont even realize that they are Kannada songs. U will find some unnecessary fighting scenes which make u hate the movie more. Overall, this movie gives you ZERO entertainment and a big waste watching in theaters.
