A royal, elegant decor, with rich golden and warm brown tones, pillared and soft lighting, giving it an old-world charm. That's Kalash at The HHI. An Indian-speciality restaurant, the copper and brasswork on the ceiling adds to the character of the place. The Kalash menu lists an exquisite range of North Indian, Lucknavi and Mughlai dishes. As you glance through the menu, you see innovation and creativity - a result of the happy marriage between traditional recipes and contemporary ingredients. The strongly recommended dishes are Murgh Malai Tikka, Galouti Kebab, Beckti Tikka Hariyali, Pesto Paratha, Rogni Naan with Parmesan, Kashmiri Pulao, Murgh-e-Raan, Nalli Rogan Josh and Pabda Machher Jhol. The popular veg dishes on offer are Subzi Alamara, Paneer Lababdaar and Dal-e-Kalash. Wrap up your meal with their house specialities: Nolen Gurer Ice Cream or Chhanar Payesh. And it doesn't end there: don't miss the Chocolate Paan. Live ghazal performances add to the whole experience.

For north Indian and to be very specific for mughlai and Lucknavi food, Kalash is my destination. The food here is prepared with traditional recipes and the list of my favorite dishes here is pretty long.
Right from pesto paratha to beckti tikka hariyali and Dal-e-kalash and murgh malai tikka, I love testing almost everything at the Kalash.
