The 1932-heritage restaurant Nizam's is the greatest exponent of the Kolkata Kathi Rolls. The excellent, tender Seekh Kebab, wrapped in fresh, hot parathas, sans extra oil, with a generous sprinkling of raw onions and chillies is still the biggest draw for hordes of customers, including international tourists. Other than Kathi Rolls, you'll also get chaanps, biryanis, kebabs and rezalas in your choice of beef, mutton or chicken. Warm and friendly service, reasonable pricing and ensured quality - sans the frills - are the reasons behind Nizam's continued success. As in the case of legends, there are many who have tried their utmost to copy Nizam's rolls, but Nizam's stands tall... and may it continue to do so!

This is where I always come for parathas, delicious kathi rolls and tempting kebabs. Besides Chicken and Mutton their Beef is also not bad and everything is very fresh and not at all neglect able. Great food simply put forth and that works fine for me.

After hearing a lot about Nizam’s Restaurant from friends and people around, I planned to make a visit there. Kathi Rolls, Seekh Kebab and hot parathas have great taste, but little extra oily. You can go for anything from beef to chicken. Just wrap them and grab a bite, you will certainly feel good. I personally loved the kebabs of the place and would recommend people around to try out Nizam’s Restaurant at least once.
