At first glance, Royal Indian Hotel will strike you as just another ordinary eatery that offers Mughlai food but once you have eaten here, you will realize that it's anything but ordinary. Climb up the narrow, steep flights to the first floor and you'll find yourself in the foodie's Mecca in Kolkata. Order their Mutton Chaanp, Mutton Biryani and Tikia Kebab and you won't regret finding your way to this congested part of Kolkata and sharing space with all kinds of people. The taste is what matters here; after all, it is the food of the royals.

In the old yet very popular and crowded area of the city there is this very delicious and authentic Mughlai cuisine restaurant is located. First thing it is old and in decorational aspect it does not have much accomplishment or claim to make. The only mind blowing and attention grabbing aspect of this restaurant is its scrumptious food. Kebab and Mutton Biryani are the best one can get here.

I must say that except great food do not expect anything else in this place. The overall feel is typically Kolkata and the place is always packed with huge number of food lovers. I prefer mutton items that are best here and the cost are also very reasonable.
