This bar-cum-restaurant near New Market is for the staunch drinker. Quite an old establishment, New Cathay Bar thrives on its regulars who like to catch up every evening with the same bunch of people over the regular glass of whisky, with no frills and not much expectations. The shabby interiors don't really matter... neither does the food of Chicken Chowmein, Prawn Chilli, Lemon Chicken, Red Pepper Chicken and Chicken Kasturi Kebab. They will keep coming back.
