This is a gourmet's paradise. This is definitely one of the food experiences to look forward to in Kolkata. The West View Bar & Grill at ITC Sonar offers one of the city's best assortments of roasts, cheeses, salads, cold cuts and hot, flavourful grills. In fact, it is the grills that is the main attraction here, as there is a good option of meats and seafood. Whether it is the tableside flambe or the Live Seafood Grill, the food here is to die for! And fresh oysters too... on a bed of ice, with a dash of lime or baked with cheese. Bratwurst Sausages, Pork Sausage and Red Wine Risotto, Eggplant Roulade with Pesto and Smoked Boconccini, Duck Breast and Balsamico Di Niro as well. There's buffet (Rs. 2,250 plus taxes) too. From the à la carte, the Beef Steak enjoys great popularity. For desserts, there are crepes, gateaux and mousses. Exotic cocktails, top-label wines, cognacs and high-end malts will also keep you in good spirits. Well worth the moolah.

I find the buffet of this otherwise good restaurant little overpriced. The la carte menu is has great food options and for me their Red Wine Risotto is what I prefer most of the time.

West View Bar & Grill is one of its kind of places....good ambiance, great service and delectable fares, they have all...love visiting the restaurant...

I find the best grills ever at the West View Bar & Grill. This restaurant is a part of ITC Sonar Hotel. Have grilled seafood or Smoked Boconccini, everything served here is delicious. I have been to the West View Bar & Grill many a times, but never tried the buffet. Planning to visit there soon to try buffet lunch.
